but of course, BMW. to me, out of all the "luxury" car manufacturers, Lexus is the least appealing because so many of their luxury/high end vehicles are just Toyota's with amenities put in it. BMW, MB, and even acura make their own vehicles.
Acura is all made by Honda point the tops of the "H" to gather and you get the "A" lmao, USA is the only region I know of to get the Acura brand on Honda's lux/sport models such as NSX, Integra Type R e.t.c.

But yes Lexus is short for "Luxury USA" Made by Toyota as a marketing gimmick..

^^^ perhaps i was incorrect. it just seems to me that most acura's dont look a lot like honda's, where lexus cars i can almost always spot a toyota that looks the same.

a friedn at my unit was showing me his stereo he put in his neon. i was being nice, and i was shocked when i just popped up the dash because its attached with clips. it took him no effort at all, and he called that a feature.

cels dogg dont put acura in there because acura is a rebadged honda and benz is now chrysler so now the only companies that make thier own cars are audi and bmw

Ownership doesn't mean anything about who makes their own cars. Mazda is mostly owned by Ford, but Mazda engineers still design the Mazda product. MB, not Chrysler, still makes MB.

Talking about rebadged vehicles: Audi is the worse when it comes to this. The A4 is simply a Passat with different sheet meatl and different badges. Plus, VAG has been underperforming for over a decade now. So even if Audi was an independent company, I wouldn't want to buy their stuff.

so i just went and test drove an IS 350.

my neighbor is a saleman at the local lexus dealership...so i asked for a test drive to see how it did.

that car..has some balls. Nice interior...but i still dont like the dash.

Car had a very even power band, alot of power in the low end. Sounded like crap though...just like a celica(my sister has one).

very comfortable ride, much better then the bmw ride wise..alot better. Seats are better also. Its missing the "umph" though...still not the same as a BMW. No growl, throttle is precise but still not the same.

either way..still like my 330 better for what i use it for. BUT if i was to go on a long trip i would much rather take a Lexus.

sticker price of 42 thousand dollars. With nav and all the bells and whistles.

Did you happen to notice the leg room in the back? I hear they are as bad as the 3 series. The leg room in my 328 is very bad. My next will have to have more room all around. Perhaps go with a 5er.
