The Smurfs are communist. A communist children's TV program aired amidst the cold war on United States TV. Does anyone else see this? They all share everything (Including smurfette), they all work tirelessly for the good of the community, they all wear the same clothes. The smurfs and the smurfs community are an example of flawless communism. These ideas where presented on American Television to American children during the cold war. Discuss.

But considering that they originated in Belgium as a comic strip and were made into the animated show by a company started by MGM which also made scooby doo, the flinstones, the jetsons, and Jonny Quest + alot more...I kind of doubt that any one paid any attention to them being communist..
