front end squeeking
the front end of our minivan is making a realy odd squeeking/grinding/noisefromouterspace noise. shocks going bad or what? it only does it when its cold, when the van warms up it stops and it never used to make that noise before. it does it when i hit a bump, even a tiny one, but the bigger the bump the louder it is. what could it be?
If it's FWD it's probably a CV joint - they make weird noises when cold
uor volvo did that. Check to see if the boot over it has a hole in it. if so, then its prolly dirty, and causing the squeak.

also maybe strut tower bushings? When cold they could be stiffer causing a noise?
