That totals to about $2600 or something. Real quick guess.
You can spend that money elsewhere and lose curb weight on your own. Dont resort to dropping weight until youve already looked into loosing weight in unnecesary parts.
It always makes me laugh when people put in 100 pounds of sound equipment and then drop 3 grand on loosing 100 pounds on their car. If you are really worried that much about weight id drop the sound system.
And then people argue that they are just offsetting the weight of the sound system, but is it worth $3 grand to offset it? Spend a day pulling apart your car and drop weight here and there. Remember, when droppign weight on your cra try and equally remove weight fromt he front and the rear.

i talked to the owner at length about CF anf its disadvantages, and the advantages of composite panels. these panels are just about the same weight, and paint adheres just as well to them, and they wont fade over time like unpainted carbon fiber would after hours of hot time over your engine bay. the only dowside is you dont get to show off your sweet CF weave...oh well...in the name of weight savings im okay with that
I personally dont like raw carbon fiber..in every car i have had with any carbon fiber such as hood/fenders/trunk or hatch i have/would paint it...looks cleaner...Function before form i always say...
