Front-end vibration
I'm new to this forum and really need some advice. I have a 2003 325xi with 130,000 miles. I had a blown ball joint on the front driver's side that had been rattling for some time. I had new tires put on two weeks ago and the car slowly developed a strong front-end vibration over the two week period. The vibration happens only when I accelerate and shakes the whole front end of the car and you can feel it in the steering, as well. I took the car in today to have the ball joint and arm replaced thinking that was the cause of the problem. As soon as I pulled out of the garage it started again. I haven't taken it back yet as I wanted to research the problem some on my own.
Any suggestions as to what it could be?
