Will this work?
Just got some used rims for my 97 740i the rims came off a 89 750il (not the factory set) I had a set of Goodyear 245/40/ZR1 put on and they looked great. The installer told my wife that BMW rims line up on the center hub,and that the rims I bought the center hub was slightly larger. He told her that they may still shimmy because of this. And they do!! So my question is do the rims have to fit the center hub exactly? This is my first set of aftermarket rims and I will be somewhat suprised if this is true.Or did I get bad information and a bad balance too?
