Experience of Cold Weather and Low Profile Tires
So I'm driving from work today... just a typical drive home in 20 degree weather, the typical weather you see in North MN for months at a time. I hear a noise, perhaps a pop noise... don't think much of it until the car starts to swerve. I keep driving as its 20 deg outside and can't exactly pull over and change a tire. I drive to my local tire specialist on a flat tire. Get there, and the tire 50% gone off the rim. I'm driving around on rim only. They give me time frames to order the same tire, i say screw it and drove home on the rim. Now to find a new set of wheels.
