tires for 17" wheels
Hello United Bimmer Community. I have recently purchased a 2005 325i (e46) with the executive package, which is an odd assortment of options from the premium and sport packages combined. The executive package comes with 17" rims but is fitted with 205/50R17 tires. Mine has Goodyear Eagle RS-A tires, which feel like absolute rubbish when pushed hard. I want to replace them, but with a slightly lower profile tire, like the OEM tires on the sport package: 225/45R17. Does anyone know how wide the 17" rims with the executive package trim are? Can I put 225/45R17 tires on these rims? Thanks. Mark |
