knocking from rear
After changing the rear springs, rear mounts and checked the trailing arm bushes which look fine I am still getting a knocking from, the rear when I turn either left or right. I've checked everthing I can think of in the boot, battery, shelf, tools, spare, cd changer etc
Wheels seem ok no play in them, brakes ok. Exhaust fine
Anyone any suggestions what else I could check?
Cheers

knocking from rear
It seems to knock thru the turn but very difficult to pinpoint exactly where its coming from. I've had someone sitting in the back who heard it but all they could say was it seems to be from under the rear seat. I've taken the seat out but nothing out of the ordinary was found. I've checked underneath for the problem with the tearing of the floor but mine seems solid around the mounts. Its just annoying me now I'll just keep the radio loud so I can't hear it

Reaching further and further for possible explanations... have you checked for fasteners holding the exhaust coming undone? Similarly, the heat shield around the catalytic converter? Rear brakes functioning okay, including parking brake?

knocking
Exhaust and heat shield both ok, Rear brakes ok, pads seated correctly and caliper ok. Parking brake? not sure what I should look for with this one
Thanks for suggestions

With regard to the parking brake, it was just a very remote suggestion that one of the springs could have broken or something else may have come undone, especially if these haven't been looked at in some time. Wheel bearing, even more remote...

OK... So the only thing I can suggest at this point is going to be this... Now keep in mind it could be really hard to spot. Look at your Tcase and see if the mount is loose or potentially broken slightly. The other thing would be a wheel bearing. Also be sure that the caliper bolts are secure. If a bolt came loose this could be bad. Other than that I would check the tires themselves. If you have something stuck on your tire it could cause a noise at low speed. If none of this works I recommend taking out the entire back seat and any contents at all in your trunk and finding a friend and a parking lot. Get in the back and have your friend drive around and duplicate the noise and listen for where its coming from. Happy hunting.
