M6 Replicas on an E36?!
Hi Everyone, I am new to teh site. Has anyone seen the M6 replica on an E36. I have a black 4dr and was thinking about getting those for my car. I was also considering the MVR Magnum

I just bought a set of reps for my wife's e36 sedan in white. I'll post up some pics when we get them mounted up. its a xmas gift suprise so you'll have to wait like she is.
These are a few pics I found while researching for a good example.
These are the same ones I have ordered and seem to be the best replica wheel out there.

1st set look good. The set on that green e36 look like hell. M6 reps HAVE to be concave to look good

You dont think the replica's on the green are concave? I was also thinking about the hyperblack CSL replicas. But I see a lot of other E36's with those. I havent seen anyone with the M6 replicas here in New York City.

dunno, the reps on the green e36 look kinda weird
I hate the looks of Alpina reps, you can always recognize them as replicas.
Awkward

the ones on the black e36 i believe are true M6 wheels, and as you can see they required some creative modifications to make work.
Ya i know i haven't been here in a while, got out of the bmw scene when i got my bike last summer, now that i can afford them again... here i am. my new wife and i just bought a `90 325i in brilliantrot (mine) and a `92 325i in alpineweiss II (hers).
Like i said, i'll post up some pictures when hers are moutned up here next week

Devin,
Congrats on getting married. Where are you guys living now?
Sorry for the hijack.
I have seen the M6 wheels on a 540 also and they look pretty slick.

i'm gonna do the m3 front bumper and mirrors shortly and she really likes the ltw flag in black. the angel eyes are also a stocking stuffer. Tint will probably be done in the coming weeks.
it has now...
Bilstein Sports
H&R Blues
6000k HID Headlights
i now know why people have so many issues with the e36. my problem list is 3x's as long as my mod list....
right now i'm busy runnin through the whole car wiring trying to find a few shorts. I already repaired the infamous trunk wiring, and it only solved the fuse #7 blowing.
So this is why all e36 owners want an e30. my e30 is damn near perfect and i have barely touched it...

Im sorry guys but the M6 rims just don't look right on an E36. If you want M6 rims buy an M6 don't try to put somthing on an E36 that doesn't belong on there.

your opinion has been noted for the file...
I know she likes big 5 spokes that are split, so this was a natural choice as i don't like having the same rims as other people. i like to have my cars look a little different from others

Good to see you around again. I saw in a BMW Power (German) magazine where an E36 owner replaced the front of the car with a M6 front end and adapted the Z3 tail lights on the back with a wicked looking body kit.
He was sporting the original M6 rims and it looked awesome. They really look great on your car man.

oh... I hate German Bimmer mags
the American "BIMMER" is cool, but the German mags are mostly riced out... *puke*
btw I've actually bought that very issue of the German BMW mag... because of the e30 M3 featured...
I remember the M6 ront, the front didn't look too bad but the rear was horrible
