What is this weld mark from?
Hey guys. Can anyone tell me what this weld mark is from. Is it something that is normal or is it a problem. The car is 1995 e38.

Looks like a weld to the strut tower. See if you have one on the other side of the car, if so you it might be normal, I'm not entirely sure though. |

actually I take that back. Although the pic is somewhat small this looks like a poor weld job here
The other weld along the arrow looks fine

okay nevermind. I looked closer at the car today. Its not a problem the black stuff pointed out by exilion is just dirt. I was talking about the mark along the arrow. I looked at it again today and it is not even metal that is just some kind of plastic. I can scratch it with my fingernails. So I guess its not even a weld. And yes there is the same kind of mark on the other side. I just did not understand what this mark is for. I don't think its any problem.
