It's dropped by 70/50. It drives very smoothly still, and is not as bumpy as I expected. The grass makes it look lower, but you can see it on the road looking a little higher.

that looks great, but you need to get wider rims and tires. that would look amazing.

Hey, thanks for the appreciative comments everyone!!! Weaves? Is that the BBS rims? lol

Me and a friend had an afternoon of cleaning cars today (he has a MK4 Golf), and I spent two hours cleaning those rims with a toothtbrush! Also fitted a heat guard on the K&N cone filter. Still lots of little jobs to do, and a few big ones, too.

do you think the weave wheels painted in black with a red rim edge would match to my silver car?

EDIT: You know, M3 Evo-style...

^i thought about doing something like that with mine. since then i've decided that i don't like black rims - they blend into the tires too much. i'd say no.

You could do just the centres black and polish the rims; that looks awesome. I personally think that works better on bright coloured cars and adds a bit of contrast.

I would perhaps just go for some BBS cross spoke as they are, or how about some Alpina reps?
Look on the touring blog; lots of inspiration for rims on there, mate
