^i thought about doing something like that with mine. since then i've decided that i don't like black rims - they blend into the tires too much. i'd say no.
You could do just the centres black and polish the rims; that looks awesome. I personally think that works better on bright coloured cars and adds a bit of contrast.
I would perhaps just go for some BBS cross spoke as they are, or how about some Alpina reps?
Look on the touring blog; lots of inspiration for rims on there, mate
yea new wheels would set it off. no more then 17's though. look into more aggresive sideskirts?

OMG today I had a coolant leak in my touring i was so horrified in the first moment when I parked my car on the hill and suddenly it really poured outta my car....
yikes
well, in the end I dunno what caused it, looks like the closing wasn't locked tight and maybe the valve blew as well
