Replacing the springs and the struts on your own
How hard is it to replace the struts and the springs and what are the special tools I might need, referal to a site with instructions would be great, or just instructions
This should be similar to the process on the e46. You would probably need to find a Spring Compressor, you can usually get one from an autoparts store as long as you leave a deposit.

Spring-Strut symptoms versus RSM failure
~I have sqeaking from springs when car is parked on a incline
~I have squealing from rear in turns on low speeds also can hear the squeal when backing up
Does this sound like spings and rear shock mount or another combo of the above?
