Southeast Meet

Who's interested in setting up a meet for the southeast? Probably north atlanta area, maybe in a week or so. This is just a thread to get some ideas on the kind of turn out we could organize. Any ideas for location or date? The western thread is showing us southeasterners up! haha, we gotta get something together.

So who's interested?

i think a week is too early...not enough time to get something good together. i say we should do something mid june. to get ppl on the forum, we should get a UB east meet like SEBOC did...

That's true, a week isn't really enough notice.

What do you mean by "we should get a UB east meet like seboc did"?

SEBOC just started in Late Dec/Early Jan...probably one reason they had a big meet was to get some publicity. Since we're new, maybe we could get an annual meet started and hopefully get some nice eastside bimmers on here! Same for the westside of UB

just a thought...

Wow. Sounds like a neat idea. I am surprisingly far though. 480 miles from St Augustine... But I wanna go to one!

2 Ideas:

1. Have some UnnitedBimmer.com T-shirts, I am personally willing to spend $10-$20 on purchasing one if we can have them made before the meet.

2. If not T-shirts, then at least have the banners ready and on our cars by then!.....

Definately. We will also have lots of fliers to hand out. We need as many ub.c members there to represent too.

I gave chad from seboc a call this evening and got his voicemail. I'll try again tomorrow. A United Bimmer/SEBOC join meetup would be great.

if I have some spare time this week (finals week) i'll design some windshield cards for the forum that members can print out and stick under the wipers of cool bimmers they encounter.

windshield cards

alright. I wanted to keep it simple in order to not strain people's printers too much. I used Pagemaker but it won't allow me to transfer to a PDF, so I have an HTML document here that can be used. I found no way to submit this, so I figured I'd just post it here

I think you forgot to include the image in the zip. I see a bunch of red x's at the top of each card.
