Administration and forum sponsors

Is Habbie an Admin here who sets the rules, or has he bought the Lighting Forum, thereby insuring he can modify and delete posts that are detrimental to his company?
The reason I ask is because he is telling posters that he makes the rules in that forum, he will ban them if they don't play by his rules. If this is the case why not rename the forum?

I know he sponsored it, but how is the membership best served by allowing only vendor approved posts to be made? There is an obvious conflict of interest in my opinion.

Well, am I not making my question clear? It's more of how this site serves it's membership.
Is it the sites policy that questions like this shouldn't be asked? Because if we can't question the vendors, and they can modify and delete our posts, along with banning us, then why would anyone want to do business with any of them?

I think that sums up whether or not its a bad idea or not to have vendors as moderators.

Actually this is not solely between Matt, Jim and Habbie. You may think so but I simply disagree.

Matt and Habbie attacked Jim's credibility and thus their own credibility comes into play.

And like it or not their credibility and reputation is dark, shady and filled with many deleted and locked threads.

I brought up an email written by Habbie which was vile down right innapropriate. That is part of his reputation and credibility because he said it. Even though he denies it, it is part of his credibility.

So Matt and Habbie simply cannot attack the credibility of one vendor without opening up their own credibility.

I am sorry you disagree with that and this matter is far from setteled.

if you have questions, that u can PM the vendor, b/c its a question, right? why does everyoen else have to see ur question? im not taking sides or anything, its just that personally, i think habbie does a great job, when people have problems and post in the lighting forum, he answers right away, thats what its for, its really ont a discussion forum

I wasn't even a member of this forum. Nobody representing my products has tried to sell here. So totally unprovoked with absolutley no reason Umnitza and Habbie decided to use your forums as a toilet to dump edited crap about me and their customers. If this is your kind of people, than f u all.

I hope the thread stays up a long, long time.

Jimmy, you don't seem to get it.
You dumped on ME first and you always have. Maybe you can't follow simple rules and directions, maybe you're just a troll, maybe you're still the 2-bit crook I thought you were, but unlike your new "forum" of brainwashed goons, it seems you just don't know how to read it seems.

Read what Rooz posted, he doesn't want you causing a stir UNLESS you have something to add that may prevent everyone for seeing who you are.

This is my last post on the subject, you are member (in every connotation of that word) use the PM function and see if you can't come up with norma words to say.

ENOUGH ALREADY! Don't You guys have anything better to do than using OUR forum for doing your dirty laundry? If this is the extent of your business savvy, I wouldn't do business with either of you!
