I just had a new idea for the forums!

What about setting up a thing where in each person's profile they choose their favorite picture of their car.

Then on the homepage of the site one of the links is for an image gallery voting thing kinda like on hotornot.com, only for cars, not people. haha

Each person's car would have a running rating from 1 to 10, maybe even being displayed on the left side under their avatar whenever they post.

If you ever get bored and there's not much activity on the boards, hop over there and mindlessly flip through people's cars rating them.

Whatcha think? Maybe we can even use this to choose the featured car of the month (or we can use the old traditional poll style, but this is more fair since it contains EVERYONE, not just a select few the management of the site chooses).

I think this idea has potential.... Feedback?

I say go for it... Hell, we can always remove it if it doesn't attract enough attention.

ORRR, rather than doing the featured car of the month like every other forum... what about use this system to keep a running "Top 5 Rated Member Cars" on the homepage or something. Live updated for the top 5, then maybe a text list of the 6-20 or something.

That'd be hot as hell... and something a bit unique that I've never seen another forum do.

i'm a little worried, it would definitely hurt my e-feelings when everyone says that my car sucks, and there's some people out there who i would tell them their car sucks because that would be my opinion

Well, everyone has a right to express their opinions.

In my opinion, you shouldn't worry that much about other people's opinions.

i really like the "Top 5 Rated Cars" thing, but would the rating be just on looks? performance? sound? all? just something to think about.
