Google's Watching Our Development
Haha, I just noticed Google is starting to like us a bit more. A bunch of our threads are beginning to get a higher PR, and Google's starting to crawl a bit deeper into our site. One thing I noticed though, which I found kind of amusing, was our Site Feedback forum has the same Google PageRank (roughly a page's importance in Google's eyes) as our homepage.  I guess google enjoys watching how our forum develops.

Also I forgot about www.penguinstudios.com.  I just added UB's link to a PR4 page, and a handful of PR3 pages. That should help quite a bit.

I just invested about $100 on advertising for UB at iwebtool.com. Link placement on 5-10 high PR pages for one month, that should give UB some nice short-term backlinks. I split up the links between unitedbimmer.com and unitedbimmer.com/forums/, trying to increase search engine awareness to both.  Edit: And another $50 in directory submissions.

Also try www.link-vault.com, you get points for putting links on your site and in return your links are put on other people's sites. The links aren't randomly generated each time the page is loaded, so google doesn't penalize for them Last edited by Noodles; 03-22-2006 at 09:48 AM.. |
