Anyone feeling generous?
 

I've spent at least 20 hours in the past week optimizing UB as much as possible for search engine optimization (SEO), and have pretty much gone as far as I can.

However there is a great package out there made specifically for vBulletin that goes above and beyond what I can do by hand.

This might be far off for now (not really making anything from sponsors... most sponsorships are free in exchange for advertising), however I thought I'd throw it out there and see what happens.

It's called vBSEO and more information about it can be found at http://www.vbseo.com.

It's $149 though, but it's a one time fee for life.

I personally vote we raise money for it by throwing a United Bimmer Bikini Carwash, featuring the ladies of UB and witeshark, all wearing bikinis. :lol

I vote for another meet with a raffle or something, am sure out sponsors can throw some stuff in for us to raffle....

If you guys give me a heads up I can ask for a weekend off early enougth :)

Maybe the admin should invest into this software.

I've already invested nearly $2,000 of my personal money into UB, and countless hours of time. This isn't needed for us to continue operating, but would greatly improve our search engine rankings. I'm posting this more as a wish-list. :)

harry your timing sucks. I would have forked the mooley had you asked about a month ago. i am now in short supply due to tons of motorcycle repair and purchasing shit for my car.... :doh if no one else gives in ;) PM me, i might be able to spare part of it.

umm, what about a $1 donation from all UB.c regulars. Assuming that 50% of us do do that, that's roughly $150, right? Could use paypal...setup a special account?

right, i said regulars... not everyone whom registers stays or cares. From the way the post counters look, there are ~224 "active" members.
