I can't really say anything bad about canada. My only exposure is a trip to Niagara Falls. It was nice, the people seem nice. Too nice in fact, I think the government might be drugging all of you. If you haven't been I do recommend it. Definately worth the trip.
If it wasn't for the higher tax rates, the more socialistic society and the higher unemployment rates they both create, I would consider living in Canada.
BTW glad you got your hockey back, I'm sure it was killing you guys.

ok, yeah there are higher taxes. the new federal governemnt has plans to remove the gst and cut corporate taxes. canada is booming right now. at least in western canada there is a severe labor shortage to the point we are considering brining in foriegn workers. and we just elected a conservative government. alberta is just about as conservative as you can get. it is all those whinny bitches in ontario that are socialist.
^^ yea sucks about the labour sortage, but itll mean a shit load more for those with experience.
Western Canada, specially Alberta is like the best part of Canada. As me and B_w can tell the the scenery and shit rules. The rocky mountains here are so specatular, its worth the trip out. I have a couple of pics from a hotel i stayed at recently so ill post them so u guys can see.

western canada > gay central canada
Glad to see you are moving in the right direction. I have to say I havn't visited western Canada, but I imagine it to be more rural and open. Perhaps I will have to do it for a vacation.....

Curious, how many members have NEVER posted.. or for that fact, only made ONE 'help me' post and disappeared? Not trying to bitch anyone out or anything, I'm just saying that just cause we get more and more members, doesn't neccesarily mean that they will become active posters.
BTW, just for the record, I can't post everyday, but for the past few weeks, I've been trying to squeeze in a comment or two....

As long as they are helpful posts, it's all good. 472 of the members have at least 1 post. and 292 have never even posted. with 94 members having at least 100 posts. and 69 of those have at least 200 posts.
There are some 240 members or so not listed. But you can see that this is a very active board. I joined because I found the information helpful and I was/still am new to the bmw scene. If I can return the aid I received in some way then I would like to.

But of course, that's how it should be. Participation and communication. All good in my book (the more opinions recieved the more accurate the end result), it's just a bit annoying how some people join, but don't participate. I remember on the other forum where some of us started at... there are 10,000 member i think now, how many acutally post reguarly? After awhile here, you'll find that that percentage of posters will drop as the number of members grows while the number of active members increases at a slower rate. Not really a big thing I guess, just an opinion.
