forums are looking rather messy
 

what is going on with the forums lately?
and why are the bmw and unused subaru forums combined?

Most likley becuase of the letter Harry recived from BMW about the use of the roundel.

Put the www before unitedbimmer.com in the domain and it'll be right. :p

If you go to http://unitedbimmer.com it should automatically update your browser and change it to http://www.unitedbimmer.com :rock

My main purpose in doing this was for SEO (search engine optimization). Without this, there's a change a search engine will see http://unitedbimmer.com and http://www.unitedbimmer.com as different sites, thus splitting our search engine ranking in half. :thumbup

I agree about the unused Subaru forums. There aren't enough subaru members at the start to get it going. With this you pulled people away from werkz and bimmerforums, so there was a fairly large member base from the start. It just takes up space.

Haha, check the lounge a few days ago. The title of the thread is something like "BMW Throwing a Hissy Fit About United Bimmer". :lol

You know the tiny little 16x16 pixel roundel at the top of the page in the top left corner?

Well apperantly BMW feels that its enfringing on thier trade mark copyrights and requested that Harry remove it. They also complained about the roundel used in the banner for "getcoolparts.com" which UB has no control over being a sponsors banner.
