For those of you who opt out of receiving United Bimmer emails (tisk, tisk, haha), here is the content of the email I just sent out:

$username,
As the holiday season approaches, some big things are happening in the United Bimmer community. Today is the kick-off for our Holiday Toy Drive, where we're trying to collect Hot Wheels and Matchbox toy cars for less fortunate children. All donations will be forwarded to local charities in the name of the united member base of United Bimmer. More information is available here or on our homepage: http://www.unitedbimmer.com.
In other news, United Bimmer is still growing at a fantastic rate. From our startup not too many months ago, we already have over 67,000 posts and over 800 members. Our knowledge base now has 14 original, high-quality DIY articles submitted by our members. There is also an article in the knowledge base regarding Common Faults in the E36 which is a great resource to reference before purchasing a new used e36 BMW.
There are a few new features on the horizon as well, namely the United Garage, a Car Domain style personal showcase, United Subaru, our twin-sister site in the Subaru community, and Lost Topic, a new dynamic (ajax based) addition to the forum which no information has been released about yet, but should be unveiled in the next week.
Thank you for your continued support, and Happy Holidays from the entire team at United Bimmer.
