Hey Harry, I was at a couple of sites today and I was thinking it would be cool if they were sponsors, here are my 2 suggestions:

BMP Design and HMS Motorsports

I like both of these cause they have some stuff for the e30 which most of the other sponsor sites don't have. Just an idea for some sites that you might be able to help make ub.c some money.

I'd recommend you contact them and say you're a member who doesn't work for the site, who would recommend contacting us regarding sponsorship.

Trust me, I've spent a lot more time on UB than you guys know. In my free time, here's a partial list of some of the sponsors I've contacted to see if they're interested in sponsorship. It's harder to get a sponsorship than you'd think.

From this list, most of them replied to me and required custom replies.... that shows the amount of HOURS and HOURS I've dedicated to this part alone of UB.

I appreciate your idea, but I think it'd be more powerful coming from you as a member, than me as an admin.... because you have the freedom to suggest any forums you visit, but I'm slightly biased. hah

Allright well i did not know you went to all of those but i will drop a line to both of those sites and see what happens.

To get sponsors' interest - whenever you buy from anyone - tell them you heard it on these forums. That gives them the idea to lQQk at the site vs the site "whoring" for sponsorship. Let them decide on how to spend their ad dollars - we can attract more sponsors just "mentioning you heard it here" If Admin approaches them, alot of them (not all) think we're trying to rape their wallets for a free ride.
