I just had a pretty cool idea to motivate some people to recruit mostly, and maybe able to be expanded to new stuff later.
What about having under each person's name a little row of small icons, or Member Awards. They would be things able to be earned, and would contribute to the community when earned. For example if a person has more than 10 referals (members they've gotten to join through spreading the word) for example, they'd get a little "R" icon/award for recruiting. I thought about having an award for post count, but that wouldn't be a good idea. Maybe after you submit a DIY that's admitted to the knowledge base, you get an award icon for that. That way you can look under a person's name, and the more icons they have, the more they've contributed to the community. Know what I mean?
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
^^ Haha, well if they recruit someone, they'd then get the emails we occasionally send out, and it wouldn't hurt anything to have them adding one to our member count... it just wouldn't help anything.
I don't think it'd be an "i'm better than you" thing, but a thing of prestige and respect. If you submit a good DIY, you deserve it... know what I mean?

if more people think like me then we could potentially be a huge database of bmw tutorials, which attracts bmw owners, which brings in more people to write DIY's and BAM it's exponential! wild..
