thats exactly what i would want to avoid, freaks who are arrogant, and would come on here to brag about their car bash others, and make up lame kill stories, another example would be ricers

^^^^^ and you really think BMW owners aren't arrogant? everybody's arrogant. everybody brags about their cars because everybody who ges on forums is in love with their cars. you discriminating against certain makes and models because you think they're too ricey or they're too arrogant makes you yourself arrogant for thinking that because you believe that you are better than ricers because you care more about performance. think about that.

this isnt going anywhere. ya it would be sweet to have a bunch of european cars but right now i think that is a little much. i think we should take it one step at a time. if we start slamming a bunch of different companies/forums it will be very overwhelming IMO. just give it time and see what happens w/ US.c

Ouch, Chris, sometimes you make my brain hurt, hehe.

Anyway, what Harry has been doing with the forums is really awesome. I agree with those that think that the forums should be for makes that have a large following, otherwise, it's pointless.

As far as ricer forums go, I have nothing against it (I know my avatar says otherwise, lol). My only concern is that things could get sketchy really fast since a lot of bashing and bragging obviously does go on in forums. But as long as there are capable mods in place, it shouldn't be an issue.

Yeah. If people wanna talk about their car's performance because of the UberFastSpeedLikeWhoa Software chip they installed, they can talk about it in the tech forums for their car (seperated by makes). If people wanna discuss giant squids caught on film for the first time in history, they have the lounge.

I agree in a sense.

I personally really like the idea of a german car forum. But think we are on the right track with enthusiast forums such as subaru.
