i like this. I hope to see this community grow. the shared forums would need skillful moderation to limit a showdown between makes.

wonderful idea. I know we were thinking hard on trying to get more members and expand our network, but this idea is simply kickin'!

Subaru is a good place to start, with the kind of knowledge David has, and since he already has his foot in the door.

i don't think we have to worry about other forums copying. other forums owners like their money too much, and start up forums will cut into their profit margin plus the cost of servers and development. and they just all around won't be as good and will fail, or have b,w shit all over the honda shit. Harry, on the other hand through his own personal business ventures has everything he needs to make this idea work.

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

I can agree that having something like a Honda forum incorporated with a BMW forum could turn out poorly. Because of the generalization most of us have toward honda owners, we would probably be less inclined to help them with their technical problems, despite our motto "United We Drive"

We can make separate areas for these. We can make it so forum areas people don't like will not show when they log in

I honestly think a joint lounge will turn out badly. it will turn into a WHOLE LOT of fighting and all that stuff that we just had. I go on honda forums and i see post whoring like you wouldn't believe, fighitng constanly, flaming.... last week on here is a constant thing on most honda forums.

or, is it possable to, have one main site. www.unitedcars.com with the links and some info about all the forums. then, have all the other site running off of it (ub.c, us.c) have NOTHING to do with each other? lol. like nothing will be joined or anything like that. it would be considerd as a totaly different forum. is that possable?
