I'd also like to hear some feedback regarding downgrading the server (since we're only using like 1% of it), and investing more money in advertising to bring more new members in. Whatcha guys think about that idea?

sounds like a good idea to me.

This site needs advertisment because it doesnt really have a google friendly name, unlike BMW-forums which came up in like every google search about bimmers..

can, if possible, we get an idea of how much we are spending on server now, and how much would we be spending if we downgrade it?

We're spending about $180 a month on the server. I'm thinking about downgrading to about $120 or so. (We're also having a hard time with sponsors.... Premium Auto Care dropped off, and I EurogarageR is WAY overdue in paying. I guess no one on here is buying from them, heh).

I agree if we are using such a small percentage we could definitly pay less and still have a fast as hell site, and do some more advertising.
