I just sent out an email to all members who accept administrative emails...
It was the following:

$USERNAME,
United Bimmer is growing very fast. We've broken 600 members and 43,000 posts in just a few short months. Since the beginning, our creed has been "By the members, for the members," and that has never held more true. The money brought in from our sponsors is reinvested 100% into the development and progression of the site.... not going to fatten the owner's pockets. In the past we've used this money for advertising, sponsoring meetups or events, and giving away free decals... but now we (as a community) made the decision to invest in a faster server to grow into. This thread was pinned in the member's lounge for a few weeks to hear everyone's input on the decision: http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/thread3068.html.
The new server is very, very quick. It's running on dual xeon processors with DDR400 memory and a 100mbit uplink port. In english... when we were testing the response time before we went live with it, our ping time was under HALF the response time of Google. The server will allow downloads (from our file manager for hosted pictures and videos) of up to 12.5 megabytes per second. In even plainer english... it's fast. We plan on launching some large advertising campaigns soon which will help with recruitment which will help fill up the server a bit. If you want some more geek-speak details, check out this thread: http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/thread3313.html . This new server also means that free @unitedbimmer.com email addresses are coming soon as well.
Hop on the boards and check it out!
And as always, thanks for your support of United Bimmer.

Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.
