How could someone hate the look of half the cars in rate my car. I don't really hate any BMW. BMW's are not always the best looking or fastest cars but that doesn't mean I hate them. I think only major POS cars deserve 1's...1=worst. I personally think there are many cars that are worse than any of the cars in the rating system.

I am and to me BMW are the cream of the crop that's why I own one and frequent BMW forums. Otherwise, if I wanted to discuss/view/rate other cars I'd go on a general motoring forum (which I do when I want to discuss/view/rate other makes of car).

I wouldn't go on a hardcore porn forum and discuss the benefits of celabicy or go on a nazi forum and harp on about how good racial integration is, or a flower arranging forum and enter a bucket in the rate my vase section - generally you stick to the basis of the forum otherwise there is no point in having a theme at all.

Lol I bet the land rover forums are buzzing with tales of norfolk farmers bringing in the carrots at the end of the season and welsh sheep farmers going out lambing in their landy 100, exciting accounts of the scotsman that took a 45 degree incline at a whopping 1.2 miles per hour "it was a bit scary but she hung on!!! exclaimed jock", Stories abound of Cruzin the streets of caerphilly in a pimped up landy 80 twin cab with a set of 18''s, tips on how to install a "SNORKEL" cold air intake and smoke stack exhaust for that ultra cool sound as the revs creep past 3000rpm (when it eventually reaches 3000rpm), and racing tips on how to drift the arse end accross a field full of cow shit. Probably a "Rate my muddy old landy" part too of course if you entered a BMW in it you would expect to be at the top wouldn't you???

PS Did you know that you can now get "Spray on MUD", for those off road owners that want that authentic off road muddy look without leaving suburbia.

As far as the 1 being bad thing, therefore 2 is just a little less than bad, I admit I made a mistake and apologise. I will change my votes at my earliest convenience considering maybe a 4-5 as a base for stock low end bimmers and go from there. Land rovers and the like will however still remain a 1.

PS I was not too long ago looking into buying a land rover - wanted to try a bit of off roading but the finances/finding somewhere to keep it didn't stack up.

Oh, and believe it or not the thing about the spray on mud is true!!! Can you imagine washing your 4x4 on a sunday morning then spraying a tin of mud all over it for that authentic off road look.

Muddied up picture added to Rate My Car. I'll leave out the fact that during that excursion, I hit a nasty little hole about 15ft from the road (coming back) and high centered the truck in a rut. Had to be pulled out.
