Sponsoring Other Sites
 

We've been actively looking for new sponsors recently so we have a bit more cash to spend on the forum.

First of all does anyone recommend any companies for contacting regarding sponsorship?

And secondly after we get some more money coming in each month, what sites do you think we should approach to purchase a banner ad on? A few sites I wish we could advertise on such as bavauto do not have banners though. Consider that before making your suggestions.

We have a little bit of money now and I'm kind of wanting to buy a banner somewhere to get some new members until our search engine ranking gets better.

how much do the prices compare? (like a price on a website vs google)

depends on the amount of keywords, regions of display, and they charge a CPC (cost per click). and not sure for websites, they probably use a CPC system as well.

oh and komodo, not sure what your budget is but to advertise nationwide/worldwide, costs a lot.

Yeah, we'd probably go nationwide though. No need to go global because we're only english and most of the stores we talk about only ship to us, etc.
