I just made that header image really quickly in photoshop... but I'm thinking I should have faded the right side to that gradient because of the bigger resolutions...
It works and looks decent, but if anyone else wants to take a shot at making a better one, by all means go ahead.
Edit: In case it changes, I've attached the header image I'm talking about here...
