All morning I've been working on getting mod_rewrite setup on United Bimmer.
Now you'll notice all the threads are thread423.html and forums are forum243.html. This is MUCH better for indexing on google rather than displayforum.php?SESSIONID=450MIFO323&f=4234&page= 23&sort=DESC&sex=yes&showlastuser=1
You guys won't notice a difference in the forum at all using it normally, but the URL is different for search engine optimization purposes. The old links with all the symbols and stuff like above still work, so if you have any bookmarks or links or whatever, it doesn't matter. No purpose in changing anything, this is just for the search engines.
This is something no other major forum (surprisingly) has done. DTM, werkz, bf.c, etc. None of them have optimized this.
Now we just sit back and wait for google to find it.
Umnitza now provides a mechanic to install all parts ordered right in the box! It's their new "Total customer service program" that will eliminate all the haters and keep incompetents from breaking **** and blaming the vendor! When you are all set simply call INS and they will pick him up free of charge.

After doing this, MSN search now crawls our entire forum. You can go to msn.com and put any random text from this forum (that's not in the lounge or any other private place) in quotes on the msn search engine, and it'll find it.
