The NEW it's raining thread.

Obviously if yes wins, it'll be a different name. We'll create a "Random Chit-Chat" sticky or something where you can just go and post a random comment that you want to say, but isn't worth starting a whole thread about. And if it does win, also know multiple posting in a row by the same person, or multiple people tag-teaming for a while, will be considered post whoring. lol, we'd be a bit cleaner about it than "it's raining", but it could help keep the general post-whoring mostly to only one thread.

Or if no wins we don't allow it at all. :)

i think it will win, just cause it's a fun way to pass the time reading over the 10-15 or so replies the topic will get each hour.

i nominate "i'm bored." for the topic title. chris's idea - i'm just agreeing.

I just leveled it out with my 'No'. There is really very little point in having a thread that will be a direct copy of the one on the site we ran away from... and besides it just promotes post-whoring.

i think its a good idea, it should be called "Its Sunny." lol i dunno

I say yeah! Why not? The weather is always topical.

i think that if we have a new one(i thought that No meant we change the name), so Vote me YES, but ithink the name should be:

"have a biscuit"
"grab a biscuit"
"buttery goodness"

one of those 3

since we are basically rebelling from other forums.. we can not have exactly the same things.. because that lacks imagination.. gotta have somthing different!

I think if we do it, we can't end every post with the same thing like "That is all."

The thread would have to be just pages of single posts without any closing. Just small posts about whatever.

I say we keep it. Not only would such thread absorb most post-whoring. I believe it would help in terms of community-building, of which I believe we are in favor.
