i think that just regulates the outside air mixture with the the inside heated/cool air.

so if its hot outside..and you put the knobs to cold then the system only blows air that has been cooled..or not coole dif you dont have the ac on.

reverse idea with the hot air.

i think thats all it does.

It's basically to keep you awake while driving. You can set the vent to hit your face with the temp that keeps you alert. Here it is, straight from the owner's manual . .

^^^ No, actually it's the right one, as shown in the very first pic on this thread . . look right between the vents. I believe that's what xsperf is referring to, I just happen to have the E36 equivalent of it.

sweet pics lotattendant, i love it, except the wheels need to be changed out. also, is that the regular or sport model? I assume its the regular since the sport sold in the first few hours you had it.

But you have bought a beautiful car! enjoy it!

What I can't figure out is on the Technical Data part of the link, a car with an automatic transmission that's 66 lbs. heavier than one with a manual gets a tad better fuel economy in the city (21 v. 20), and the same on the highway (30 v. 30). Just doesn't add up in my book .
