Beeping Noise

If my computer has been making a beeping noise a lot recently, and doesn't go away for a while unless I restart the comp could it be overheating?

I just asked a buddy and he said it could be the thermal pad and paste?

Its possible, a lot of BIOS settings include an "overheating" alarm to warn you when it gets to a preset temperature that is reaching its limits

if ur cpu is overheating it will freeze and sometimes randomly restart, and i do know that if it gets too hot, unless its disabled, the comp will just turn off

When you reboot go into the bios and look at pc health or something similar and see what the settings are. If it doesn't have settings for cpu temp or fan speed it would have to be something else.

those settings and readings should give you a rough idea of what is going on.
