Have You Seen This?

The "Po - Lease" are taking advantage of technology. This my friends is what states are buying & mounting permenantly in areas that are high traffic & high speed zones. They can activate these little guys remotely from their cars. Not only do they get your speed but your pic too. Nice eh? It documents, date, time, speed and your "mug" and can catch upto 3 at a time. (This liitle gem was spotted outside of Nashville)

Wow, that sucks. We have cameras here for running redlights, but remote activation speed cameras is new to me.

unfortunately the only way to test how to beat it is to try and beat it and failure is expensive. It would be nice to setup a test environment and try different products to beat these things.

That's because it hasn't been processed through a digital editor yet. The feds have an "digital imager" that focus' the object x10 and it can be pretty well defined after all is said & done. (one of our crew got a ticket mailed to him - said the photo was a better portrait than his DL)

I agree, it sucks but it's becoming common-place. They say it's for our safety, but it's the excuse that they've been looking for - they supposedly now have a reason to watch over us. (I smell rental car fun in the making...)

I wonder, in PA a $50 fine ends up being $110 or so, is this normal in other states or does PA just suck when it comes to tickets?
I created a new thread for this, http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/u...c-tickets.html

if you ever come out the Sf area we should take a day off and get a rental car with insurance. Well show those assholes what unsafe is.

You're on bro. We can do a "door handle delete" against one of their poles. Wonder if their cams work while moving? (like 30ft straight down)
