Rough Idle

Hi there

Took of ICV, what a hassle, cleaned it (used pure alcohol) put it back, what a breeze. Started it, could barely hear the engine running. Took it for a spin (280 km) runs like a dream. Suddenly rough idling is back, rpm stays above 2, only drop to 1 or below when you use gear 1 & 2.

Unplug your MAF. If the idle smoothes out, the MAF is bad.

Also, check for air leaks in the intake bellows, make sure the clamps are tight at both ends
