I have a 93 325is.
I have about an hour commute each way, 55 miles.
Last week I noticed that when I come out in the morning to head into the office the clutch pedal is down about half its travel to the floor. If I pull it out and pump it slightly (pump in the slack area) it firms back up and isn't an issue. Especially on a Monday after it sat for a day or two.
Then this week a couple times after I'd been driving for 45 minutes or so on the highway with no clutch activity when I went to down shift the pedal was literally on the floor. I could get my foot under and pull it back and it would firm up with a gental pump <that's just funny/>.
Given that my tranny seems to act, release, and shift without other issue I'm thinking this is clutch slave related.
What do you all think?
Thank you for your help.
