The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission wants to update its rules to include candidates for the new office of the lieutenant governor and Internet advertising.The state first elected a lieutenant governor in 2009.The new rules would make the candidates, who run with gubernatorial candidates, eligible for public campaign financing.
