front drive on gravel

I used to have a 97 grand am, yeah I know, any way, for kicks I would take it out to a gravel road just outside the city and see how fast I could go. As most of you Im sure know, a front drive on gravel is a little tricky at best. So I was able to easily get up to 180-190 kmh. Well one day I went out there and they had just poured fresh gravel. Fuck me, talk about a rush. But now Im older and more responsible, so I guess I have to take it to the track. Not to mention I will never put my car on gravel, I would rather walk.

front drive on gravel means you HAVE to do reverse doughnuts. Most fun you can have in a fwd vehicle!

FWD and AWD are best for offroad conditions. See: Rally.
And death please stop saying you "drifted" your mom's van.

its possible, only on gravel or ice/snow though. ever watch WRC? Half the cars there are FWD and look at how they drift the corner.

man, drifting is for the dukes of hazard and rally racing, keep it on the backroads man.
the fastest way around a corner is not to drift, unless your on an unreliable road (ice, gravel, mud) and thats only cuz you dont have to accelerate as much when you drift around a corner. but on pavement its faster to slow down and re-accelerate.
