high fuel comsumpition

i have a BMW E 36, 1995 Auto Saloon 316i I've discovered the MPG is very high, i am getting 20 miles to the gallon
first port of call i did a full service, its not coding, the service made little or not difference, so i replaced the O2 sensor
and its still the same, i have used injector cleaner and fuel treatment.

The car is running like a dream so i don't know where to go next, i understand i should be getting 28/30 so its quite
a considerable amount, if anyone has any ideas i would be very grateful.

What do you consider a "full service?"

What plugs did you use? What oil are you running? What fuel treatment did you use?

Certain plugs don't agree with the E36 engines. The best are the NKG BRK6EK plugs.
