Tallahassee DAY 4: things i've learned...about the south

1. In the South food is really creative, I had Catfish Tacos/Quesadillas today for dinner...I was like WTF at first, but It was so good...tommorrow I'm looking to have something called Gumbo at one of my class mates crib

2. Everyone drives...I hear healthy college kids complaining about walingk to their cars

3. There is no traffic, but the parking lot at the mall has more roadrage than 2 hours of non moving traffic in NYC

4. 95%of the girls here are fat (not nasty fat...but healthy big booty fat)

5. 99% of the guys are all or mostly skinny (like undernourished crack head skinny)

6. It's almost October and it's still hot!

7. It pours rain for like an hour everyday regardless of the fact that it's always sunny..

8. In the south everyone is either White or Black or Rich or Poor, any minority groups (like Spanish/Asian)or socio-economic class (like Middle-income class) are hidden away somewhere or non-existant! Nothing much in between the extremes.

9. Tractors, Mustangs, Pick Ups, SUVs seem to be popular here.

10. Unless you are in class, on campus, or at the Mall, there is absolutely nothing in this place to do!

11. T-Mobile cellphone service is non-existant down here. It's Verizon, Cingular or a Paper cup and some strings!

Anyway...I'm going bike shopping tommorrow and getting my new Optima RED battery put in my car, I already ordered my NOAH BMW E36 car cover from Bavauto...

Exactly,
Rooz understands me...My M42 car won't benefit from performance mods...you non-M3 I6 guys are way way faster than me even though we are all below the 200 HP ceiling and your I6 is only within 40-50 HP of my puny I4.... (dripping with pure sarcasm)"

haha, hahahahaha, so rad.. i love that... ya test driving 325s, i am not all that impressed... but oh well... i still want one.

Were you serious about the gumbo del? It is the food that the New orleans area is known for.

thats because it was michigan. i loved there and everony who could afford bimmers drove lincolns or cadillacs. In the township i lived in, it was looked down upon to drive a foreign car.

down here in ATL, at least where harry and i "live," you're considered to be in a bad part of town if you come to a stop light and there's not a bimmer or a benz.

Must have been in the wrong Part Of Michigan, The city i'm from has a ton (its a very well off community) and is just out side of Detroit. In Lansing I see far fewer but there are some nice bimmers driving around Campus, one silver six speed e46 M3 with Hamann Wheels and a front spoiler, A 545 (newest one) all tricked out, and then some e30s and e36s running around too.

Anyway back on topic, Del it sounds like What happens if I drive south of where I am now about 5-10 mins all farms and whatnot, I'm sure the Tractors are popular here too.
