Idk I like E30'S with a nice front splitter, back bumper, lowered, and some nice BBS's. But I also think you should tune the engine before you go for modding the body. If you go for the body first it makes like every other ricer on the road.

not really. cause a stock BMW is still better then a Honda as far as performance goes.(unless its an S2000)

My e30 commands so much respect that the s2000 and integra type R are now banned from this thread.

your 318 looks amazing. How much did you lower it? and where the heck did you get those awesome wheels???

Im keeping my car completely stock, but if I were ever tempet by example, its now. beautiful car.

I havent ever ben in a moving 318 before. is it at all as aporty as a 325? I figured there would be no comparison. 318 gets better milage, and thats it right? Straighten me out if im wrong here. Im not into performance anyhow. lol. I have a convertible, and all it does is look good.

I used dinan springs to lower it and Im not sure on the exact drop but somewhere there are some before and after shots:
http://www.unitedbimmer.com/forums/e...ck-stance.html

The wheels came from tirerack and are bbs rx 17x7.5 and I run an 11mm spacer to make them work. The 318 is still sporty its slower then a 325 in a straight but they are the lightest of the e30s (m3 included) and are handling beasts as a result. It is a very fast car on the track through the turns (hopefully faster once i get the sway bars installed and limited slip installed). You have to learn how to drive this car fast, to get the power you have to drive it like you stole it and keep the revs up for the most fun as it doesn't have the low power that the 325 does. It is a completly entertaining car to drive and nearly every time I drive it i get a big smile on my face. It should get better gas milage then the 325, i usually drive it quickly and still get 25mpg if i tried to drive like a civilized person it would be closer to 30+.

[QUOTE=nick_318is;160579]Well I took some pictures a while ago and thought I would share a few with you guys. This was just before I put the 318 away for the winter. I will also let you in on my plans for it: Fix my control arm issue by replacing them and also adding M3 offset bushings, Sway Bar upgrade to a 22/19 set (spec e30 size), and install a 4.10 LSD to replace the open diff. I plan to have my work done in March and have it ready for an April 12th track day where I will take some video for you guys. Now without further ado, the pictures (I have done no touching up or enhancing yet):

LOOKING! GOOD! Nick! What wheel do you have on your car? My brother is looking get his 14's off his e30!!!

Johny, see post #26 in this thread for what the wheels are.

The problem with that 325 on ebay: Its an autotragic. And why does the drivers side door not look light it fits right?, otherwise it looks very clean.

sounds like a blast nick! Im not an authority on pushing it to the edge. I have a convertible which puts me at the heaviest of all e30 models. Im just cool with cruising, and occasionally punching it to 120 and watch the mustangs, gto's and firebirds disappear in the distance. Heck, the only thing I have done to my car is have the cpu replaced to remoove the governor, and some sort of machine hooked up to it to give it something like 30 more hp. Supposedly it can do 150, but i havent ever pushed it that far. Im iffy on whether the gear box can handle that...
