yea i even saw his group buy on bf.c, but you say if there is no noise, then the vanos isnt stuck?

The vanos could be stuck without a noise i suppose, but that would mean it completely stopped working. Does your car get a power boost at 3500 rpms or so? if not it could be stuck, you can check by disconnecting the vanos solenoid and driving the car around to check.. it will not advance the intake cam with the solenoid disconnected. by testing it without the solenoid connected you will know if its working when the solenoid is connected.

Ussually the marbles in a can noise means its not working smoothly and can be not engaging correctly some of the time.. hence why my car hesitates sometimes when in the high rpms.

oh, then no its not stuck, there definitely is a power boost, but i thought 3500RPM was a little high
