Life of springs?

Hey guys, quick question.

What's the average life of a suspension spring? 50k? 25k?

What if I wanted an Eibach Pro-Kit?

And if they lowered the car 1.5" and 1.0" in the front/rear, would that affect the camber that much?

I think springs pretty much last the life of the car, absent any crash or major pot hole incident. The "sponginess" over time comes from the shocks needing replacement, I'd venture. As to lowering, it only seems logical that the camber, and other parameters, would change, best to inquire of a shop specializing in alignment and such to get the word from them beforehand.

i asked my father in law this question because i wanted an excuse to replace mine. he said until they break. . . which could very well be the life of the car. . .
