From Germany. I was just wondering since that was the $5000 tranny that left us in Michigan.

No it isn't..when you think about it even 230 is amazing but I want to know how fast it would go in good conditions.. It said he only had the gas down half way in the last gear so it has to have a good amount left. We will just have to wait until they test again I guess...(and hope the weather doesn't mess it up again)

As long as the big three and the union managers had nothing to do with the creation, I believe it will do as well as it looks.

Why do you think they couldn't pull it off?

Have you ever heard of Chaparral? that little American company that won at Nurburgring in the 60's and had such a driver as Phil Hill actually race for them? how about Panoz? the little company from Georgia that has won the 24 Hours Of le Mans, and actually created the American Le Mans series?

I'm just saying, don't underestimate a small company, no matter where they are based.

Bugatti pushed things to current technologies limit. With today's technology, that engine is going to be too high strung to do anything for longer than five minutes but sit in your garage and look pretty. ..... I mean hell... its a V-8. I've seen 1.1k HP mustangs (read: V-8), but they're all dyno queens, don't even know what a turn is.

Now a v-12 would have been a better choice for trying to build anything other than a dyno queen.

You have three choices, stand behind our troops, grab a gun and toe the line with our troops, or stand in front of them, they can use the extra armor.

well you also gotta remember, with these cars, you can have as much power as you want but the actual engineering goes into getting that power to the ground safely(even in a straight line).. hell, not saying the bugatti engine isnt amazing, but all they did was slap 4 turbos on a 16 cylinder, doesnt seem like that was efficient!
