weird problem

my computer is acting stupid. i go to start it up, and after the windows start up thing, the screen goes black, but i can still sign in and open programs and everything(just gotta hit the right spot. lol). everything still works in safe mode.


any idea what the problem is?

Your Ride: 89 325i 5 speed
On a Mac try Finder, Applications. Utilities, Disk Utility. After the message -getting disk information- select volume (below the hard drive name -upper left corner). Just highlight it. Now look to the lower two things are there near the middle, verify permissions, repair permissions. Click repair permissions

ill need to do that to my mac again sometime soon. but this is on a windows.

On windows clear all the caches and browser history and run disk defrag (in start > system tools > defrag)

my gay ass comp crashed again sunday. couldnt even use restore points. had to re-re-reinstall windows. luckly i learned from the last crash and saved all my music and files on an external drive so i didnt loos them too

craig, you probably just needed to reinstall your graphics driver within safe mode. But yea, restore works too.
