Dressing My Engine

Hi Guys,

I would like to clean up my Touring's '93 316i engine (she's only done 87,000 miles from new), and perhaps add a litting dressing.

Maybe a performance air filter (can anyone suggest one for this engine, and is it easy to fit myself), and some engine paint?

I always give the engine bay a good clean when washing the car, but would really like it to shine.

Any suggestions? Here's a photo of her engine.

Thats a pretty good lookin' 4 banger. I'd say shop around for some little subtle pieces you can easily replace to give it a nice look.

edit: And a CAI, that would look good.

edit2: and a strut tower brace.

edit3: but like a said before, that engine looks pretty damn good as is.
