Well, I finally did it, I now am the proud owner of a new exhaust from Rogue Engineering. It's their Ikon exhaust system
Here's a little info on it from Rogue E.

Why offer multiple systems?
With the cult-like popularity of our original Rogue Engineering DMS exhaust system, one would ask why we would jeopardize sales by offering a competing product?
Truth is, with the rising costs of materials (nickel based materials such as stainless steel and aluminum), it is difficult to find exhaust manufacturing pricing to go lower anytime soon. Since the entire DMS system is custom (including the labor intensive dual muffler design), we wanted to offer something at a lower price point, without sacrificing quality. Thus, out of necessity, the IKON product line was born.
What makes the IKON unique?
Like all Rogue Engineering products, the IKON exhaust system is entirely designed and developed in the US in our facility in Hohokus, NJ. By doing the development, fitting, evaluation and testing here, you're assure a product that not only looks and sounds great, but a product you can have installed with confidence.
The budget-minded enthusiast will quickly notice that our first IKON offering, for the BMW E46 325/330 is price much lower than our DMS exhaust. With a price of only $425, this is undoubtedly the most affordable BMW specific exhaust offered to date. Isn't it time an affordable exhaust solution be available for the E46? We thought it was the perfect time.
By utilizing a custom-made, single muffler (instead of producing two, individual mufflers in our DMS system), we are able to save manufacturing costs with this simpler design, and pass this savings to our performance customer. Many enthusiasts do not pay particular attention to the shape or size of the muffler, as long as it fits well and sounds good. The RE IKON fits this bill perfectly.
How much performance should I expect to gain?
In our testing, replacing only a muffler or even the complete exhaust system on an E46 yields small measurable gains. Of course, these minute gains may be depicted on a carefully constructed dyno chart. Rogue Engineering looks at an exhaust with reality in mind, designing our exhaust to deliver great looks and sound, with minimal issues of fit. Of course, all of this at an affordable price would be a bonus. These are features that the Rogue Engineering IKON deliver!
For real world exhaust performance gains, this typically means replacing the largest restriction, the catalytic converters, located in the factory exhaust manifolds. From there, free flow aftermarket catalytic converters could be added downstream, after the exhaust gas velocity had an opportunity to accelerate out of the engine, allowing for the most LEGAL gas velocity allowable. This course of action, however, is typically can exceed more than $3000 plus installation.
Replacing the ENTIRE factory exhaust system (resonators and rear muffler) with larger tubing WITHOUT addressing the largest restriction is an exercise in futility. This kind of exhaust "upgrade" will generally cost needless additional installation charges, fit issues (can 6 clamps on an exhaust REALLY fit like factory?), and ultimately, drain your wallet faster than a Bugatti Veyron.
Just because the IKON exhaust system is easy on the wallet does not mean you are getting short changed. Features of the RE IKON E46 system include:
* Only 21 pounds (replaces the 30 pound unit from the factory)
* Only $425 MSRP
* Full 304 Stainless Steel construction
* Mandrel bent, dual 57mm tubing (stock is dual 50mm), allowing for increased air flow yielding positive performance gains.
* Mill-finished pipes and muffler, mirror polished dual 3" angle cut, double-walled, staggered tips.
* Entire exhaust utilizes TIG welded construction
* Deep tone (stock center resonator is retained)
* Maintains BMW factory warranty
* Rogue Engineering logo tastefully stamped in the body of the muffler
* Adjustable mounting positions allow variable positioning with aftermarket bodywork
* Includes mounting hardware and clamps
* Can be clamped or welded (professional installation recommended)
Fits BMW E46 2001+ 325/330 including iX, wagon, convertible. Does NOT fit '99-'00 323/328.
Rogue Engineering Development at Work
By using a more conventionally shaped muffler, we are able to spend more time fine tune the exhaust flow and sound being emitted from the exhaust. Unlike other companies that offer "muffler-only" solutions for E46 applications, we have found through our research and polling, that many of these systems are simply too quiet, not allowing enough sound to be emitted.
Although we do not produce BMW intake systems, we recognize the popularity and their use in conjunction with an exhaust system. The RE IKON E46 system produces a deep, melodious tone, and compliments many popular intake systems on the market. Have your cake and eat it, too!
If you have pictures of your IKON on your BMW, email them to us and we'll put them in an IKON gallery for all to see!

And some videos made by Rogue...
Now, from my side of things.
First glance impressions were..
The tips are really mean looking, the exhaust is well built and slaps right on the factory system. It's a LOT lighter than what the factory system was. the height on the system is adjustable which is pretty cool. The welding was well done and Rogue's customer service was outstanding. The system came to my door within 2 or 3 days.
Now, on to the sound....
Now, keep in mind, I've had this system for 3 days now, so it's not fully broken in.
At startup the car gives you a nice roar, a good "intro" to how it sounds
Within the first few minutes, the exhaust is still warming up, so not too much different than the stock one. Once it reaches appropriate temperatures. it's Sweet. I'd say from 1k-3k RPMS it treats you to a VERY nice and aggressive rumble. Past that the car loosens up on the rumble but still gives you a nice deep roar. Now, in the higher Rpms 5k + surprisingly enough the car sounds close to the factory exhaust but a bit louder. And once you let go of the gas pedal you are treated to an aggressive rumble.
At Idle the car sounds noticeably more aggressive than the factory one, but not obnoxious.
Overall this system is a very nice complement to the way the car sounded from the factory, definitely more aggressive and very deep sounding, but yet not TOO loud.
And for those that say that all exhaust systems sound like a honda on crack..... I dare any honda to sound like my car
But, anywho, here are the pics and vid...
On the first batch of pics, if the exhaust seems dirty it's because it was cover all over by some plastic stuff to protect it
Here's my shotgun
Very deep roll on the tips...
And yes, they are ~ 3 inches wide...
Now, the system installed...
Here's the factory setup...
Here's after.... (You'll notice the screw on that vacuum hose, make sure you do that)
And here are the two home made Videos....
