ultimate pads have less sound deadening crap compared to other pads, but mine rarely squeak, just the first maybe 100 miles when breaking them in.

They are pretty good pads, but I dont have regular rotors either, so its a good combo. I was thinkinf of getting stainless steel brake lines sometime.

C1apton, doesn't that anti-squeek stuff run out very quickly and have to be reapplied?
maybe, but if you have to reapply, it may be after like 50K miles, and it wont run out really quickly, think about it, what would make it run out? all it is, is basically a glue/lube that connects the caliper to the pad on a smooth surface, so once its there, its there, the only reason you would have to reapply is if it gets really old and cracks/dries or something, but you wouldnt have to worry about that for a while

^^^ i believe its more of a dampener than a lube or glue.

^I got to get some my pads are WAY too loud, the only time they are quiet are the first 5 minutes before they get any warmth, and then after i drive like a madman (for a prolonged peroid of time) and start heating them up to real effective temps.

It shouldn't run out at all - you apply it to the back sides of the pads (like gasket sealer - let it dry 10-15mins, then assemble your brakes) It works like a high heat gasket and prevents the harmonics from coming from the caliper/pad.

if you are looking for an e46 M3 conv. SMG PM me. I think my parents might be looking to sell. It's still under warranty too.

BTW I have Axxis Ultimates on my car, and yes, they definately squeek, but they are a high performance brake pad, what did you expect? They will stop on a dime, and I seem to notice that they don't put off all that much brake dust compared to OEM and other pods.
